In our last monthly medicines roundup of the year, we look back at a year that saw numerous new medicines approved for people living with an inherited metabolic disorder. We are proud to have worked alongside organisations and communities to support these assessments. 8 metabolic medicines were approved in either England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and/or Wales in 2024
6 metabolic medicines are currently undergoing assessment by NICE for the adoption in England and Wales
1 metabolic medicine is currently undergoing assessment by SMC for the adoption in Scotland
