Community shout out: Julia Clamp
Julia Clamp has lived experience of hyperammonaemia (high ammonia) and has been working to raise awareness in her local hospital in memory of her son, sharing her story as part of a learnings bulletin that was circulated to staff over the Christmas break.
The hospital also shared this bulletin on their intranet and have distributed our Think Ammonia posters throughout the hospital to highlight the importance of recognising and treating this condition to improve outcomes.
The Think Ammonia campaign began because of our communities’ stories and its these stories that continue to drive change.
