Gene therapies

This course has been designed to give you an overview and understanding of gene therapy, including what it is and the different types you may hear about. At the end of this module, you will be asked to complete a short quiz to test your knowledge on what you have learnt. Once you have reached the end of the course you will receive an e-training certificate. 

Our Gene Therapy e-module will benefit anyone with lived experience of an Inherited Metabolic Disorder, who would like to understand gene therapies better. You may already know a bit about gene therapy or have experience with it, or recent developments in your disorder area mean there might be a gene therapy for you or your loved one in the future.
