Welcome to the MSUK Excipients E-Module. This module has been designed to give you a better understanding of what medicines may contain, with a specific focus on substances called excipients which are potentially harmful to people living with an inherited metabolic disorder (IMD).

This module was developed by the MSUK team and reviewed by our Metabolic Advisory Committee and a senior pharmacist with a special interest in harmful excipients.
